If you've watched the Star Trek reboot, you've seen the bit where young James Kirk steals his uncles car. In it, he fires up the radio or whatever and out blasts the Beastie Boys' song "Sabotage". But Star Trek takes place in the 24th century, which make the Beastie Boys the equivalent of Vivaldi. Interesting times ahead? Or music production ignorant of time and its effects on fashion?
